how can i tell the diffrence between metro & mini hubs ?

Metro's had different non adjustable ball joints and longer steering arms

Arent Metro hubs better suited to 13's? Makes no difference at all although they do mess up the suspension geometry. The other thing to check is the caliper bolts, if their straight with a metric thread their metro, if they change diameter where the threads start and its a unf thread its a mini hub

yes but metro turbo drive flanges fit on std mini hubs, as in the fiesta conversion..

You have to use the metro flange (i love that word) either way and it has 4 locating lugs on it which need to be faced off on a lathe or ground off if your the bodgeing type to allow a mini where to fit

This is the bolt it should have if its a mini hub minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=pb&pid=35377&title=But looking at the pics in the for sale thread the steering arm looks to be a long metro one. Just for future reference the only parts needed to fit metro 4 pots are ... Calipers, hoses, disk & flange and the bolts I linked to
