i was just wonderring if u can fit retracktble rear seat belt if so how do i fit them

Depends on the age of the car really. Later Minis had the fixing points for lap and diagonal belts and Minis from the early 90's, I think had inertia rear belts. Will have to find out the exact dates though.

Okay. As far as I can ascertain, from October 1986 rear lap belts were standard fit on all Minis. I think the mounting brackets were fitted to earlier cars possibly from 1984 on. The Sports pack range of Minis had retractable seat belts fitted as standard to the rear. To see if your Mini has mounting brackets / holes for the rear lap belts you will have to take the rear seat base out and check the back of the seat pan / lower rear bulkhead to see if the mountings exist. Just found that inertia rear belts were fitted as standard from June 1995 on all models. If you want to fit Inertia Reel rear seat belts to your Mini they will have to be a Retro fit, IE: you will have to fit your own mounting bracket/s depending on any mountings already on your car. Hope this helps.
