police only really notice really done up cars. so you could get away with a little bit of poke. but 3 points for each wheel and thats your licence gone over something stupid. personally i wouldnt want to risk it. i'd just get bigger arches.

Its all a bit daft really.... Id rather people drive with te amount of tread you and Jackdaw have than drive around with stupid dangerous tyre stretch like this: It doesnt look good, it looks like you cant read the side of a tyre when you go to the fitters.

I agree, I'd rather just get new wheels or arches instead of stretching the tyres... terrible

I'll be honest I was planning on being a bit of a nob when I passed my test.. but the other night wehn a friend left a carpark a bit to quick, had to swerve to avoid an oncoming car and hit a parked car it made me think.. there really is no point at all

I have no plans to draw any attention to me or take any risks. A lot of my friends are stupid driving and i refuse to go in the car with some. Also, me and my father have worked too hard and spent too much money on my car for me to bump it for acting stupid. Slow and steady wins the race

Unless my lamps are deceiving me (very possible) those arches don't look right, as in the narrower section should be on the rear of the wing, not on the front section of the wing. Now look here old chap, If you had fitted as many W&P arches as me or did some research you would realise that they are fitted correctly, as they were in the 70's. Now get back in the workshop and finish that mini for your customer and leave the W&P arches to the professionals.
