all 4 of my ball joints need replacing. does anyone know how much it costs and how long it takes? cuz the garage is saying it'll take 4 hours to do, if so i'll do it myself because 4 hours is a waste of money if they are charging me labour. so anyone have a clue or could help me out?

i had to do ball joints to get my mini through the mot , im not going to lie to you they were right fu**ers ! www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyDE4oqbZncwatch that video to get the jist of things , you will need --2 of these - www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=pb&pid=35318&title=(new ball joints) -- 4 grease nipples --a vice is a must have , -- a double deep socket ( cant remember the size il go up mini 2moz and have a look , you can borrow this off me as i have it and its stupid price to buy ) --and a lot of patience il be happy to give u a hand if you want to diy as i got mine throught mot so i must have done them right haha  gav |

turns out i went to another garage and my ball joints are fine. the garage near me just trying to rip me off. thanks tho tim.
