Hi guys. Finally back from abroad and getting on with the mini. Went to grease my front nipples. this morning and at the bottom of both the suspension cones the little round rubber boot around the joint had come off the bottom section leaving it open to dust dirt etc. I cleaned em out best i could stuck some grease in there and managed to reconnect one properly ;D. The other is knackered so is greased to fook for now and will be wiped down and greased every time the car is used but will need replacing asap! I have a 200 mile trip to Dorset on Saturday to go to my g/fs for the summer. work will be continuing there! I've been reading how to do the job and it seams straight forward (but never is) I think this is the replacement part?? www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=pb&pid=33828&title=Am i right??? also I need one of these to do them. www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=pb&pid=38341&title=When I do them should i also change the rubber cones? Is there anything I need to look out for to make sure its done correctly. Or is there anything else I should also change. Don't worry about budget. I want this done correctly! The Haynes manuals I have make it look fairly simple. But i'm pretty sure it wont be. Help and advice appreciated.

if your not worried about budget go for the genuine one, while your at it check the bump stops under the top arms, you'll need to take them off anyway to do the knuckle joint.
