wow. properly just did this myself. LMAO.
Anyway easy... he sais... U need to jack the car up remove wheel.
Put on spare wheel so that you can loosen the hub nut when the car is on the ground.
With spare wheel on and car on ground. Remove split pin from hub nut and loosen hub nut. Have someone stand on brakes when undoing hub nut.
NB is extremely tight. I needed a breaker bar and a scafolding extension pole to loosen it.
Once loose tighten finger tight then jack car up again and remove wheel. Remove hub nut and four nuts securing drive hub to brake disk.
Remove drive hub.
Smash out broken stud with hammer.
Insert new stud. and ensure sits tightly!
Reassemble with copper grease.
When tightening the hub nut it should be tightened to 250 Nm according to haynes. I did mine to 210 Nm with my wrench then went a bit further with the breaker bar to get the pin in.
Hope that helps.
I replaced all four of my studs. But now 3 days later i removed the wheel to have a go at a cone replacement and on reasembly one of the studs is spinning in the hub with the nut half on, cant undo. cant do up. No alternative for me than to use a axle grinder to cut through the nut and stud in order to do it all again. I may need to replace the hub which the studs go into though....
