yeh, well at the end of the day, my clio is only worth like 1400, something like that. so i wont really be paying extra for it. just a basic swop =] aslong as it runs ok, i can deal with it... (i think) haha :S my dad is coming with me to look at it tomorrow.

well if its just those bits which are rusty then go for it. if the floor and the main parts are rusty then dont even bother, and if they say they are getting new doors for it then chase them up on it!

noo, they were going to get new doors. but they want to sell it now so they wont be doing it :/ it looks like surface rust thats all. may be able to save it.  |

well, my last mini had the rust in the same places. theres nothing urgent needing doing on it =] i just need to replace two of the doors, when i can, and then just to tidy it up! aslong as it runs, im ok with it. my first mini looked lovely, but it wasnt a good runner!  |

yeh! my dad looked underneath, subframe is fine. theres just one panel at the back which needs to be changed. cant wait to get a nice set of wheels on it! ringing insurance at 9, so hopfully it will be ok. when i wanted to change to my other mini. they wouldnt let me because the car was too old?!?!?! ah well. fingers crossed! if i bring it back tonight, ill chuck some photos up! |
