Some Mini / Rover Grilles were not chromed and yours looks to be one of those Grilles.

The corrosion looks to be quite advanced on yours and would require a lot of work to get it right.
It might be worth looking around for another less rusty example rather than trying to repair yours.
If you're going to Castle Combe there's a good chance you'll find one. I bought one (for a friend) for a tenner last year.

I wont know for definite till nearer the time (probably the night before or even that morning!) but its easy to find !

Turn off at M4 Junction 18
Take A46 road north ( thats a left turn!)
Turn right at the traffic lights onto the B4040 and follow the road signs for Castle Combe Circuit
