both the gaitors have split. how hard is it to chuck a new set on?

Piece of P### ! Just get a new set, unbollt the steering arms, remove split items and change for new items. Grease up & tie wrap. Reconnect steering arms. Job done!

As jd said its probz one of the easiest jobs u can do on a mini , helps to have small fingers tho , lol

possibly the longest i've ever spent on a car. i swear my car hates me! but its all good now because my car is ready for MOT.

What was giving u a hard time mate the track rod locking nut Isi ? Mine were a right bi**h to get off

ye. i had to just twist the steering rod until it disconnected. then twist it back on.
