what do u guys think of the new wheels ?? did u prefer the old ones ? was just wondering as a mate of mine says he prefers my old ones but i like the new ones , Also had a new badge for the rear as you can see , plans to come are - -pressed plates -very light window tints -some negative camber for a nice stance - mini ultralight wheels , either fully polished or painted black with a red lip and white wheel bolts , to help the stance even more and mods you can expect to see further on in the year are coilovers and if funds permit a respray , im thinking even vw raven blue or the red it already is or black i saw a brand new pessat estate in black today and it looked like you could have taken a swim in the paint , it had amazing depth ,

Personally not a fan of black wheels (on any car) but I prefer your new ones over your old ones.

thanks Coedy , cant wait to get a set of ultralites for it now ,
Ive been looking in to getting the Raiger body kit witch is a very subtle one witch is similar to a GTI , to be honest i don't think i will bother as im probz going to get a proper GTI when my insurance comes down within the next few years,
Today i finished work early so got down to giving the lupo its big weekly wash , Started with a rinse down - then a wash using 2 bucket method with autoglym bodywork shampoo and conditioner- then all tar, oil and all other bonded contaminants removed with autoglym intensive tar remover - then a rinse down to remove all suds and tar removed in the step before - then dried with a drying towel - then all bodywork inside and out polished with super resin polish - then the final buff of the polish - all black plastics and tires dressed with auto glyn instant tire dressing - Going t finish tomorrow with a rinse- wax and interior clean , if i have time between the three cars i have to valet
Thats all for today

personally I would not recommend a Black Respray for this reason when I bought my Black V70 10 years ago after owning it 3 weeks some nice person Keyed the back door and 2 weeks later some other dead head keyed the passenger side after getting it sorted on a day out in London some very kind person keyed the rear boot door not a happy bunny so it's been like it since and checking with other Black car owners it seems it's a common problem further more it's harder to keep clean than a white car and it also shows every imperfection/ding and dent and it's a difficult colour to match if you wanted to touch up the paintwork believe this or not there is a large number of different Shades of Black therefore Black is not the Black it might look if you get what I mean.

This is very true as I've found out myself. I'm constantly finding little imperfections on my car and even the smallest of stonechips stands out boldly on a black car. My car seems to get stinking as well, but there is a positive to black cars, They look awesome ;D ;D

yes I agree they do look awesome fully polished to a mirror shine but it's very time consuming just to keep it looking clean even a passing car or breeze will deposit some dust onto your lovely finish less than 5 minutes later and it looks dirty again
