after a bit of thought if it were me Then I would go 12 x 5 on the estate and stick the 13 x 7 onto the saloon once fully restored go to the 10's problem solved ;D ;D ;D

err sorry that's what I meant I omitted the word estate when refering to the 10's so 13 x 7 On the Saloon once the traveller is restored either the 10's or in my case I'd prefer the 12 x 5 s make sense?

;D It was a good day when getting the engine in the hole. Sunny but bleeding cold, hence the gloves. At least it wasnt raining!!! It'll be nice when its finished, although if it were mine it would be going back to the original 1966 spec. We all have different individual preferences tho and thats what make Minis special.

Best of luck DB. Remember, don't rush the job. It'll be worth it in the end.

You could have polished the carb a bit before putting it on !!!!! Dont think much of the masking tape holding on the rear wheel arch either !!! I can see what you mean about the water pump / alternator location tho! How could they screw up on that Still not the way I would go with oversized 13" wheels ! It looks like a "Monster truck" to me
