its just soo annoying all the time effort and money you put into the car, and some jerk in a brand new car isnt concentrating and it almost seems that you've wasted everything you've done. its horrible. i just want my mini back on the road. i'm not ready for another car yet but if it is written of i'd deffo get another mini and maybe spend some money and do her up like i did with this one.

It doesn't look that bad but yes it will be written off, it might be possible to buy it back?
At the least it's new rear panel, boot and bumper. Not sure if its the shadows but it looks like the rear quarter is buckled ( just above arch) if it is you need to check out the rear subframe, boot floor. But it's all fixable. Good luck with it and don't accept the first offer from the insurance.

Ah, deepest condolences mate.
It probably will be written off looking at it (depending how your insurance is set out). But! Take in a bundle of Mini mags (recent ones) if your asked to go to see the valuer as it will show what Minis in your condition (pre prang) go for. Also as Lawson said always reject the first offer and keep tapping the Mini mags.
If you can buy it back though definitely do, Even if it does look like a lost cause at least then you can try and save other Minis then with the spares and get money back towards the next one.
Also, dont forget, If you are feeling it tomorrow to get down the hospital and get checked out.

He should have given you his details straight away, or within hours not days. Time to get the Police involved definitely!

the police officer came over to fill out an accident report form and she has found out where the guy lives, went to give him a visit and he wasnt home. she said she will try his house later and if not she'll try again tomorrow.
