98/R Volvo V40 2.0i FSH MOT/05/12 £750/Offers

Hi all is anyone interested or know of anyone looking for an estate car as I have my RED 98/R Volvo V40 20.i with 84,590 miles on the clock it has a FSH and is MOT'd until May 2012 no tax as it is on a Sorn for sale at £795 and is open to sensible offers the following is a brief description and all bad points have been pointed out as they are minor ones anyway and do not affect the cars performance
BODYWORK is good with no dents or dings but it has some age related marks BAD POINT the Lacquer is peeling above the Drivers door and on the top of the wing mirrors
INTERIOR is clean and tidy with no rips or tears to the upholstery or Carpets BAD POINTS the Sunroof lining has sagged and needs re-gluing and the plastic trim at the front of this panel has come adrift and needs refitting
WHEELS & TYRES The Alloy wheels have some minor Kerbing
BAD POINT the Finish to the wheel centre caps has faded
All the tyres have excellent tread depth about 6mm and have no cuts/splits/damage
Audio >> Radio Cassette(RDS) and CD Auto Changer(in boot area)
Electrics >> all work as they should
Climate Control system to keep the toes warm in winter and cold in the Summer
This V40 Has the benefit of the winter pack > Heated Front seats and Windscreen

hey mm i have a tip for you for that faded plastic trim on the car , wave a heat gun over the top of it and it will bring it up like new , then use a black trim dressing to seal it all up

Thanks Gav but the trim is not faded the plastic strip/handle for the sliding panel that covers the sunroof has come away once the sagging head lining on the panel is re-glued the plastic strip/handle can be replaced and as you will have noticed all the faults are quite minor and do not affect the cars performance

yeah it dosel ook to be in good nick , and low milage for a work horse, volvo go forever :0 should sell easily at that price

In answer Gav yes the V40 is very comfy and yes both Cars are listed on Ebay with watchers and Piston Heads at £9.99 a listing for the last 3 weeks no response or offers also listed on Freeads again with no responses ,,,, must be a bad time of the year or there's no money about due to the current financial climate so still hoping as I desperately need the cash and the cars gone to free up my driveway ,,, MM
