the assessor came over just now. and said he's gonna try and not write the car off. which is cool so it will be repaired and keep its value. the assessor was was telling me how he used to be an apprentice when the first mini came out and he hated the sliding windows and the car is a pain lolol. he obviously knows his stuff.

while they repair it i can ask the garage who does it to do a few touch ups with the paint work since its the other guys insurance paying for it.

It may be an idea to have a chat with them before they start about what additional work you want them to do and get an agreed price for the extra work. That way they only have to prep and work on the Mini one time and you get it back with all the work done.
