HIF44 (I think) From a British open classic.
Running a stage 1 kit (drilled airbox with K&N element, inlet manifold, LCB, Exhaust) .
1275.
Needle suggestions! Go! The timing may not be 100% yet but have understood you need to get the fueling half tidy before sorting the ignition.
No idea whats in there now (should be what ever the british opens come fitted with..I know that doesnt help lol).

Im not sure...
I thought it was a 44 because its exactly the same as what was fitted to my 998 (we used the one that came with the engine instead of mine though as we know it used to run well with it).
The one off my 998 (I was told when we got it) was off a metro...
Are they both exactly the same visually except the throat size?

From further reading and investigation I can confirm its 80% likely to be a HIF38.
Ill confirm tomorrow when I go for a mess about with it (trying to get the fueling sorted, Seems to pop, splutter and bog down around half to 3/4 revs. If you bury your foot it pulls through it).
Any suggestions as to what needle to try out with it?
Im thinking AAA or AAC after looking about online?

Standard needle (aem) so is indeed a hif38. Tried setting it up best I can and gave it a quick clean out. Seems better now. What needle should I go for for a stage 1 1275 with megajolt?
Also my head gasket has gone through the, side wall. Same as lawsons lol. Whey....

Aau seems very similar to aem just without leaning out at the top. Aaa is a lot richer throughout...
