All insurance companies are all too eager to take your money from you before giving any insurance cover but as soon as you put any sort of claim in to them they wriggle and squirm and slow things down while looking for any way to avoid paying out the amount of money needed to return your car to its previous state. You agree to a level of "service" by paying the insurance premium only to be let down when they start dragging their heels after a claim. If you continue to get messed about by them contact their Insurance Ombudsman and complain as loudly as you possibly can about their Code of Practice. If there was any group of barstewards worse than Bankers, its got to be Insurance Companies!!! I would shoot them all at birth if I had my way !!!

i'm with footman james. but its the 3rd party direct line which are messing me about now. so i'll continue to call every day until something is sorted. if i crashed and i claimed then fair enough i'd expect my company to work slow and be annoyed. but its not my fault and i dont understand why they want to take so long.
