well its been 6 weeks and... after the 2nd time agreeing to repair it, they've decided they wont because they cant match the colour and refuse to spray the whole car. so it looks like its gonna be written off now. so its gonna take a few more weeks to get this sorted. soo annoying

What? It's white it's a pretty simple colour to blend in. If you had a pearl paint I'd understand but that's crazy. I think their just trying to get out of it.

Phone your insurers and tell them you want it repaired at another garage as they dont know what they are doing at this one. They wont be able to write it off because 'I cant match the colour white'... and if they try to, tell them youll be getting the financial ombudsman involved as your not happy. www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumer/complaints.htm |

wow thats crazy i have never heared of that before definatly fight it as they cant say no for that reason even if they fix the car and get it sprayed els where better than scrap or let them write it of and and pay you then buy it back

ok well see if they will give you the cost of the damage and you get it done private for cheaper and then you will ave bit more money to do the extra paint work you wanted  |

well the engineer who told me i didnt have to buy it back because i'm third party lied to me, so i had to buy it back for 600. and i've taken it down to my local garage to be fixed. so i'll get her back sometime next week.

well the garage by me quoted about 650 to repair it. so i'm hoping its not to much above that.
