The reason im looking for a cheap mini for my son is, that he had a lovely mini , but had a few engine problems burning oil being the main, so until he could save for a new engine he sorn it and kept it at a mates house, he left the keys with him so it could me moved if need be, the long and the short of it is the guy sold the mini we reported it to the police, but they cant do any thing as the guy claimed it was his car and the log book not being proof over ownership we have to take it to small claims, but we dont know,where the mini is, on calling dvla it is still in my sons name, the mini was being kept in aberdare area , it was a cream colour with a bonnet that folds right forward and a racing clutch, anyone knows any thing about this mini or wants more details about it,or knows its ware abouts i would be grateful of help,

Thank the guy recons he sold it to a scrap man for 80 quid but i cant belive that,

 What was (is) the Reg number ? You'd be better looking at all Minis you see to try and spot it. If may have been resprayed to be made to look different. and keep checking with DVLA to see if its been re-registered or taxed.

I'm from Aberdare and work all around the valleys, if you stick up the reg number and maybe a pic of how it looked I'll keep an eye out for it.

thats realy shocking shame its happend that way hope you fine it and get it back or get the right money of the guy for it weather he looses out or not wouldnt bother me. yea put up a pic so we can keep an eye out for it so mini's have been found this way

Thanks guys i wasnt sure to put the no plate up or not,and ljonez i think you know my son mike hes a member on here, you may know the mini, i will try and put some pics up, been in toch with dvla no change of owner so my son is still responsible for it

Ah yeah I've spoke to mike a few times, only seen the mini once as it drove past

Well if you happen to see it again would be greatful if you could let us know, just hoping to pick mike up another mini, he lost a lot of money, over that one, so he doesnt have a lot to spend on another one,

By taking him to the small claims wont you get some money back towards another Mini if you cant track down the original?
Id be taking the cretin to court.
