I cant underrstand why you have to make that much noise when the car isnt even "on the road" yet !!! Have some consideration for the neighbours !!! I would never do anything like that !!! ;D

I would suggest that as long as the noise did not break the recognised of times 9PM on week nights and 6pm on a Sunday what have they got to moan about ,, I've had band rehearsals at my pad on a Saturday (always finished by 8) and if on a Sunday's where we've had kids dancing in the street and only ever one complaint at 5 in the afternoon on one Sunday all I said to the police person was we would be finished before 6 so police person waited up the road unknown to us and when we stopped at 5 to 6 she came back at 6.15 and said thank you I realise you do understand the noise rules ,,, therefore if you respect the rules there is nothing they can do ,,, it would be different if you were making excessive noise after these times like 11pm at night blasting music out or whatever then you will get into trouble ,, if your going to have a house party it would be wise to inform your neighbours or better still invite them that normally keeps the peace even if your unsure of the times check with your local police officer or council office they will put you right as some areas may differ with the byelaws ,, mm
