KAD Quickshift. The bestest.

Minisport dont do the proper ones from memory do they? just the £30 knock offs... Everyone has problems with the knock offs. some one who used to be on this forum a while back went through 3 standard gear sticks trying to get his quickshift to work properly. KAD all day every day... It may cost almost 3 times the cost of the knock offs, but its three times faster to fit (even though I still havn't fit mine yet ), 3 times better built (so will last 3 times as long) and are 3 times as cool... (Having a 3rd gear and a collar lift reverse that works is far better than not having them with a knockoff).

A match and some petrol I've found easiest to use for lighting cars. ;D ;D. Seriously though, Very nice atmospheric pics. Selling your kidney was worth it.

Thanks everyone, ;D Yeah she could do with coming down a tiny bit but want to keep her sensible to drive (Ie, able to go over speedbumps without having to slow down to an absolute crawl ) won't be getting high/lows until I swap from cones to springs though so will be a while off yet.

It's nothing vital, she's a nice car, got the retro look, but also fits in with 'the boy about town look'

Well it will mean I will have to go back up to Prospeed in cardiff so they can make up some new mounts for it and so they can re-weld up a new link pipe back section. I'm thinking of putting it up under the boot floor near the wheel well and then having a nice normal looking rolled tip exit poking out from the usual place. Hopefully it will still sound how it sounds now, but will look 'cleaner'.

Is that how you got it mounted before? Took it to them? I like the idea of a bespoke exhaust

Prospeed are awesome. You tell them what sort of note you want and they will use different back box styles/shapes/ pipe sizes to get what you want. then you can choose what exit you want, if you want de-cat (if a modern car), how many silencers etc. They are awesome. Not cheap mind. but you'll get exactly what you want and you get a lifetime warranty.
