Hey all, been ages since i updated my thread. So i think its about time for an update. Right so over the last month me and my dad have been back on the project.
We spent alot of time time fiddling and trying to line up non genuine panels with no success, so we i bought a front end from custard (thanks again) and then bought a genuine scuttle and it made a world of diffrence, everything lined up straight. I finished fitting the front end today, just a few more welds to do tommorow. Also started my custom rear lights, i am using mk1 conversion plates as the bases and then using a red and clear cluster. I have photos on my phone so will add them tommorow when i get a chance.
I have also bought a new sewing machine now so will be getting cracking on the interior very soon, if all goes to plan it should look amazing.........

Lights trial fitted All the welding was finished today. There has been a change of plan now, the car is going to be satin black now, it will give the welds and filler time to settle. then over xmas the car will be stripped down and resprayed.

On the mini front i have a few more pics to go up no, and the clear bulbs will be the indicators, i have to find somewhere for the reverse and fog light now.

Do it! That would make a hellish noise! lol.
Ah that's cool. How about in the normal under bumper style mounts flipped upside down mounted on the rear parcel shelf inside the car?
