its on its 2nd engine now but that's black. I'm rebuilding the original blue engine.

I guess they rust even when garaged and not used during the Winter?

Ouch. Those rust bubbles always hide bigger problems. Let's hope the front panel has escaped without too much rust.

I've treated the front panel with a rust preventive. a new product from hammerite, it eats into the rust after 24 hours wipe of residue and apply their own rust prevention paint.

It's a Sportspack so sadly rust is never far away. Doing a fine job by the way.
