its a 1973 all original with 35k on the clock which is belived to be original , it doesnt look any thing like that at the moment tho cos its undergoing a full restro

Cool Mini family You've got there. Are those 12 in steel wellers on the flame??. How good is the body on the Van.?? Like, is the rear load deck in good nick etc.

yep wellers on the flame, the body is mainly rust lol, it has a clubman estate rear floor pan which is in relativly ok condition some pics here s252.photobucket.com/albums/hh21/lrjonez/ im still in the process of uploading them tho

Your van's not quite as rotten as my woody. The resto so far on the woody has been an uphill struggle but I'm slowly getting the upper hand. The van is certainly worth the effort though and keep up the good work.

hopefully by singleton park (show) there will be a 16v engine in the daily drive!
not gonna give away to many details but it will be roughly 120bhp (at the wheels) as standard and fitted under a standard length flip front, i may post up pics of my progress or i might just leave it untill the show.
saying that it all depends if i get the engine i want this week otherwise i'll never do it on time

my time scale for singleton park my well be off now as the person i was buying the engine off sold it today even though they were suposed to be keeping it untill tomorro for me to pick up still making progress just waiting for another engine now. on a side note my father has decided that the city needs to have a vtec in it, when its done it may well be the first bmh shelled mini with a vtec so he's made an offer on a civic as a donnor.

Yeah i think im gonna go with colin seems a good old van name. also i should be getting a shell tomorro which will be used as a jig/template for the subframe build

the plan for my engine swap into the flame took a rather large dent today when i bought this for the engine to go into the city ;D ohhhhhhh nice, im green with envy,,,, i,l pop up and give you a hand with the transplant one weekend if you like, as long as it aint rainin mate,,,,,,

wont be starting the swap till after singleton show, but rain wont be a problem any way as i have a (large) garage with pit, over head hoist etc etc. your more than welcome to come along once we start the swap
