JC hopefully all of it! lol. Getting home from handing in my last assignment on friday, going to nag phil to get a bonnet stay ;D begin stripping all the grime off. take off the bits i can and keying them for paint. (maybe rub down the radiator as well.) saturday fix my oil leak with the kit from ebay. and paint some more. Sunday paint and rebuild monday is the extra emergency day to rebuild/paint.
but all depends how busy my dad is over the weekend because i cant do it by myself because im an idiot.... lol.
also add to the list ill have to stop in hellfrauds at some point as well.... hmm this could be busier than this final week of assigs =/ lol.

hm awsome! any idea how much it is from memory? im considering just getting hammerite because its only £8-£10 a tin. also my dads pointed out i cant change my head this weekend, because it wont have covered enough miles to mean it can be tourqed back down so im going to have to try and do my best with the main bulk of the engine in place still going to rip everything off that i can though

Okay. I've found a place that does genuine BMC Green engine paint. It's £9.95 per 500ml +vat and P+P.
ttp://www.dsnclassics.co.uk/
I'd forgotten about this Mini Parts supplier. They've been around for years.

hmm almost £14 quid. doubt itll get here by the week end aswell. ill probably just get some green hammerite, it may not be spot on but itll do for one show wont it... BUT! what ill do is. after bristol ill order some from them, paint my stage 3 head before i fit it. that way then, when the heads off having a swap over ill be able to get at the block better and i can give it a second better coat of grey. will probably work out better in the long run!
another question. ive got overspray all over my vin plate (old owner ¬_¬) how could i get this off without damaging the vin plate? i thought about using some autoglym polish and putting some elbow grease into it...

Thanks for that Biker! but went down the motorfactors today and they had 'Olive green' hammerite. so i dived on it. also doesnt look like im going to be able to get any of this done before Bristol because i cant be arsed to paint the engine twice... so after bristol the engine will get a partial strip down to change the cylinder head. and while everythings off it ill have plenty of room to faff about cleaning and painting ill order some hammerite grey from fleebay ready though ;D Cant wait!
