Getting on well LJ. At least you managed to save your grinder, mine was practically alight when it died.. But it had a good innings though.

::)Ooooo. Ouch. As you know i'm just about to finish that job on the Woody. And to be honest i'll be glad to see the back of it. It's a mare of a repair and i'm sorry now i didn't use the complete nner wing i've got hanging about. Would have saved loads of time, but at least now i know what needs to be done should i have to do that same repair on another Mini.

Is that a M-Machine panel.?? I'm sure when i ordered a repair panel which went from the back door edge all the way alongside the wheelarch to the top of the crossmember, they sent me the wrong panel. I did have a moan about it but Doreen said it was the correct panel. I'm sure it was for a Van or Pick up.

Hmmm. I'll have to see a pic of the offending area, but i've got a rough idea where you are. Have you tried cutting some of it with a SLITTING disc. They're very thin, about 1.3 mm,. Very useful gear. The standard cutting discs are far too thick.

Tidy. Had to do it the tough way in the end. Hard work. Got some more slitting discs today and they're only 1mm thick.

Glad you've set yourself a goal to aim for. Colin will be ideal for the trip to Italy and with those Mods will make the journey more pleasureable.

Re the work you're doing on the rear / side floor area. I'm having flashbacks amd bad dreams just looking at it LJ. Re the regulator. They aren't that expensive a dealer really. Just glad they could sort one for you.

Count to 100 (a few hundred times) LJ. Beleive me, i feel that way very often. Walk away from it for a while, go and do something else for a change of scenery, etc. You'll go back to work on Colin feeling refreshed.

As a grinder manufacturer i would never have thought of making a left handed version.
