I think (fingers crossed!) I've managed to stop the water coming in from the back window seal but the front is by far the worst one at the moment. It seems like nothing in the pic, but its suprising just how much water is in the footwell after a day or two of showers. I thought it was coming in through a hole in the corner of the bonnet support lip but clearly not as I filled it with leakfix. The joins between the scuttle the arch panels are looking a little rusty so could it coming in through there?

Yes it could be, plus the air vent holes beneath the wings also rust out and allow water through.

looks the same place as mine! phone a windscreen bloke to stick some sealent under the rubbers all the way around. sorted mine out. maybe your scuttle is rusting under the rubber so it isnt sealed tight anymore. but sealing it by a professional should at least be a very good temporary fix until it gets drier for you to have a look at it..

I've got clear leakfix. I just tried to lift the window seal on the outside, not a chance! It wont budge even a millimeter.

You have to remove the trim with a special tool first.

with rust like that in the corner it is acually coming straight through rust is porous and full of holes the only way to stop it is too remove the screen and deal with the rust the refit a bit of sealer may help but water is a funny thing it will go wher it wants and it can track upwards too

My passenger side rear window has suddenly decided to start leaking now too. Will this rain even end?!

My passenger side rear window has suddenly decided to start leaking now too. Will this rain even end?! Get a replacement rear quarter light seal from Mini Spares as their genuine O/E seals and their one piece so they'll fit like a glove. Make sure you ask for MKIII onwards as earlier seals will be smaller and therefore won't fit properly.

I've tarped my mini up now to hold the water back for now. I need new window seals all around (x4), a boot seal and 2 door seals too

Do it Phil, I am offshore on Tuesday but only for a week. Get the seals on order and the tool to replace the insert and I will give you a hand when I get home. It'll take 2 of us anyway, and if I bust the screens at least I have spares in the house haha. (I only have a spare rear though so we'll do that first). Leave me know. Have you been out in it yet?

I'm gonna pop to the local windscreen place and get a quote first just to save me the hassle of doing them. I'm not paying over the odds though so will more than likely have to do them myself (with help). Not yet, since you popped down all I've managed to do is bolt the battery clamps down tight and soak up the water

I think my screen was done by a guy called Steve Dale of Welsh Windscreens. He was mobile as well. Make sure you get the original rubbers m8, not worth going through this again for the sake of a few extra quid. Shouldn't be a fortune if he's only taking out and putting back in

Don't know about rubbers m8, ask him. I had a mk3 astra done about 8 years ago, bonded screen not a mini. For the cost of a phone call you got nothing to lose. Order them from minispares otherwise, they're not mega money m8 and will be with u in a day or 2.
