last night we managed to make some brackets for a front bumper, worked out where the spot lights are going and I also sprayed the rollcage yesterday, oh and the vinyl roof is now ready to go on to after the car has been sprayed.

Well in all a good days work.....haha
Just finished spraying the colour on the car, a couple of runs to sand out but other than that i think it looks ok, but will have to wait until tommorow to see for what it properly looks like.
I've taken a couple of pics but unfortunately I do not have time to post them up 2nite.

it was meant to be O.E.W. but they couldnt make it or something so they got the colour chart out to find me a close match and this is what they came out with, it's called pale vellum, and from the colour chart there is basically no diffrence, between this colour and O.E.W.
Last night I unmasked the car, put the alloys back on, trial fitted the standard arches and put the vinyl roof on the car to get the creases out of it ready to stick it down, and am really pleased with how the car is going to look.
Next on my list is to battle with the rollcage to get it in the car.

It was one off ebay, new, but it was the rear part of the cage that was the bitch, it was such a tight fit, once in it was fine.

no me it'll be good to be behind the wheel of a mini again.
The apint finish is pretty good although there are 2 bits on the front that i'm not happy with so am going to wet and dry then polish out today, then going to bolt the cage down, fit the roof lining and start putting the windows back in.
