Right then. Quick show of hands on who fancies a fix it day! Don't know when yet as depends how a replacement engine pans out... I need to replace front and rear subbies. (I admit that chances are they wont get done in a day... lol..) Free Tea/Coffee/Biscuits for all, and there is a fish and chip shop around the corner! ;D But not sure if it will be open on a Sunday... (plus you will get to learn how to swap subbies, because Ive no clue... ) So who fancies it? 17th April It will take place in Garden village, Swansea: goo.gl/maps/Z2RLWill be swapping over my rear subframe. Rules are: We will only be using our tools (if everyone brings their own tools then it will get really confusing come packing up time!) Only work on the one Mini, (as suggested by Tim otherwise we will end up with loads of half finished Mini's dotted around on my nans road!) Event thread to officially put your name down: southwalesminis.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=future&thread=8577

I'm up for it, but start lubing the rear subframe mounting nuts and bolts now How do you mean dude? Just zap with WD40 every so often? which nuts should I do? Or all of them? It wont be until End of February probably... Like I said, Im trying to make it so that when the front subby comes off a new engine will go in the new subby, so Trying to wrangle an engine...If not then no bother, but would save some time further down the road I guess. Yeah, that's the main reason Im after doing the Fix it day CoopDog. The rear sub frames on Minis fall to pieces all the time, but ive never seen photos of one being removed before, so figured others can work out whats going on the same time! ;D lol Plus they are heavy...
