Top Job mate Been a little busy on the quite there. Gonna be a cracker, welcome to the club mate.. Thanks Custard! I suppose I'm a closet mini fanatic! When the Italian Job came out in 1969 (a year before I was born) I was smitten by the cars. Its only now that I've had the conviction to build my own. Women and funds and all that!!

I had a 1275GT once with 2up 2down ralley brackets on the front for 2 Super Oscars on top and 2 Oscars underneath. ......... all with 100w ralley bulbs in When you selected main beam they all came on as well ....... "daylight" or what !!!!! ;D ;D Cant beat a good spot lamp or driving lamp set up Does make the front end of a Mini look a bit oversized tho Didnt the Minis in The Italian Job have 3 Oscars on the front

I'm hoping they're not going to look (too) ridiculous!

that mini used to be owned by an old guy by me who sold it to a boy who gave it some stick then he sold it to another local boy who basically just drove it around. It used to be tidy about 3-4 years ago. nice job mind you. I fancy the lamp bar

I decided against the poxy rear spot/reverse lamp I'd fitted so I bidded on (and won on Fleabay!) a genuine Lucas works SFT576 lamp which suits, in my humble opinion, the application so much better..... Attachments:

Very nice. I would look to get rid of that fog light under the rear bumper if I were you. It's a nice lookin one, but it would look more classy without. Maybe get a red bulb for the new boot lamp? I know you can get silver ones which flash red.

I'm thinking about the foglamp Danny. I know it looks a bit pants. I'll get it through the test with it on and think about the options after. I don't want one on there at all but since the car was produced after 1st April 1980, it has to have one. Bugger! What have you got on your's?

No no, I like the light itself, it's similar to the one I've got actually. But I've decided to go for this conversion loom I found which removes one of the rear reversing lights and replaces it with a fog light. That way I can get rid of the lamp and bracket all together.
