Hey guys, just got my new mini stuff through the post, yay! I love getting new things. My Mini Sport 4 pot calipers and vented discs, braided hoses, millers oil, wheel bearings and ball joints and my 10"x6" Minilites. I can't wait to put them on..!!!

You can't wait.? I can't wait either. Looks like you'll be busy this weekend. Some nice looking gear you've got yourself. With that lot fitted it will transform your Mini greatly and for the better.

Nah, because i've gone for the 7.9" discs i won't have to change the drive flanges, but if i went for the Cooper S discs i would have had to change them. The only problem with getting the 7.9" discs is that it limits the amount of alloys you can go for, i think Mambas and Ultralights are out the window of me now, ain't sure which others thou.

I love the exhaust, that's precisely what dad and I are thinking of having. Don't happen to have anything with the sound of it? a recording/video? Sweet looking mini, looking forward to more pics with all the new bits n bobs

Oh, what a nightmare! Me and my friend spent 2 days fitting all my new stuff, and guess what the 4Pot calipers are touching the 10x6 Minilites which, Mini Sport said would fit. So i phoned them up and they can't understand what has gone wrong as they have fitted this set-up to many cars so i have had to send them photos of the problem. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Dan

Hmmm. Bit of an understatement i know. Are you using the standard 12" hubs.? I'm not 100% sure but do you need to have spacers on the caliper mounting lugs to move the calipers inwards thus allowing more space for the wheel rim.

Hmmm. I can't work it out. I know there is very little space available when those 4 pots are fitted. Looks to be about 3mm too big. Manufacturing tolerances out, perhaps.

Yeah, think i'll just have to wait and see what they have to say on Monday when they see the pics. I'm going to fit the Maniflow manifold tomorrow as the cars off the road for a few days, so its not to bad. I just wanna go out for a drive with my new wheels and brakes on now thou. Aaaarghhhhhhh......!

Bad luck Dan :-/minisport seem to think all their customers are liars and cheats. a few months ago i ordered 2 complete radius arms and brake set up off them . when they arrived it seemed they had forgot to include all the brake components :owhen i rang to query the problem they insisted i sent them photos of the empty hubs. when i told them to stop taking the p1ss,they checked my account and realised how much money i had spent with them, they couldnt appologies enough :)even had a few freebees sent to me ;DDEAN
