Just a quick up date. Just go my mini back on the road again but, it still has the standard front brakes and wheels. In the end i had to send the calipers and a 10" Minilte back to Mini Sport so they could fit it to a car in the factory. The problem ended up being that Minilite had changed the design of the wheel so now the 7.9" disc setup doesn't fit :-(. So now i'm going with the 10"x6" Minator instead. So now i'm just waiting for the new wheels and calipers i sent back. Its quite frustrating...!

Now that really is annoying. So it was a manufacturing tolerance that was the problem. Surprised the wheel suppliers didn't inform their customers about the changes. Never mind, when the goodies do arrive they'll be fitted in no time.

Wow well remembered mate, cheers in advance. Also - shame about the wheels/brakes, but it'll all be good once you get everything on

Thanks guys, its the 7.9 Vented disc kit from MiniSport, 10x6 Minators and Yoko A032R tyres. I paid £295 for the Brake kit because it was on sale at the time, think they're about £330 now. The wheels and tyres package cost £330. Well worth it thou...! Think i need to lower it a little now. We'll see.....!

Yeah the handling is a lot better now, especally with the yoko's, i'm quite surprised of the difference really. The old pepper pots did look quite lost didn't they, these wheels fill the arches properly if anything its right on the limit of the W&P's
