One of the best mods you could have done DB. Looks so much meaner and tidier now it's on 10s.

Loving the fog lamp! I would say though that the red fog lamp and the reversing light hang down too much, how did you mount them? I made a bracket for mine out of the original one so that it tucked nicely under the bumper. Overall the whole things starting to look really retro! Bet the grille cost a few pennies Have you considered pressed plates? You can get yellow and white ones on ebay that shouldnt attract any attention from the plod, although I'm not entirely sure how legal they are.

They are mounted with aluminium brackets we found in the garage, but i do agree they do hang down quite low, i'll try and mount them higher up soon. Yeah i've been looking at some pressed plates on ebay because mine are a bit cracked, think i might get some pressed black and silver ones made up for shows too. I just can't wait to get the grille on now, gotta sort out the bonnet first thou.

Looking well smart with you. If you've got a SPOT WELD bit taking that front lip off the bonnet should be easy enough.

The car is looking amazing with you!!!

Just a little update: The mini went in to get the dent taken out on Saturday. I'm also getting 2 new sills and door steps and a new a panel. I'm also getting a bonnet spayed so i can fit my Mk1 grille. I might also get some Group 2 arches sprayed if i make up my mind quick enough. I can't wait to get it back now!

Getting the car back next week, can't wait. Feels like its been ages now. I ended up buying some group 2 arches from Huddersfield so they are getting spray the same colour as the body just hope they are wide enough to cover the wheels because they looked quite narrow compared to the W&P ones. I bought some rubber trim and chrome strips so hopefully that'll make them stick out a bit more! But I'll have to just wait and see. Oh bought an overtaking mirror, grille buttons and some retro stickers, a castrol one, Speedwell one and BMC Rosettes. Next thing on the list has got to be the overriders and corner bars and a SouthWalesMinis.co.uk club sticker.
