Well I've just returned from driving the mini all afternoon. I didn't get very far because everyone wanted to talk about it! What a fantastic brilliant day, I didn't want to park her back up.  |

What a fantastic brilliant day, I didn't want to park her back up. yeah i love that, its normally as im filling up with petrol i get an elderly man/couple come over and tell me how they used to own one, i've been late for different things a few times as i cant help to listen to their stories |

Lol, when I was filling up I was parked next to a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, Subaru Impreza STI, Yamaha R1... lol. and the mini still got looks! As I pulled up outside the house this woman walking her dog kept looking at it. So I get out and we have the following conversation: Her : That's a lovely looking car! Me : Thankyou very much. Her : Is it new? Me : What do you mean by new? Her : As in new to you? Me : Well we bought it last year but it's only just gone on the road Her : It looks in fantastic condition Me : Thanks very much Her : It's much better than the new ones Me : Yes it is ! Brilliance. |

So we had a wheelbearing collapse whilst I (jnr) was driving, Dad fixed it as soon as he got home though and all is well now pretty much. Enjoying the ride |

Little recent story for you from my Dad. Apparently the window cleaner (I think) came round last week and asked if Dad would move the mini so he could put his ladder up. So Dad said that he would, to which the guy responded "oh so it does move then?". Dad told him "yes starts every time!", famous last words. The thing refused to start for ages! Until eventually it coughed to life spitting fuel all over mums Audi! How embarassing for Dad |

Mini's hear you.... I park mine up my nans, and once when leaving her house to go out in the car she asked if it would be ok because of the frost. "Yeeeaaahhh Roxie's hard as nails..." She was as hard as nails... she had frozen solid.... Smoke coming off the fan belt, the lot... Collapsed wheelbearing.... sounds....pretty...poo.... I thought when those go on the road you effectively skid to a halt on the brakedisc?? Glad its sorted! ;D Just need to sort out the funny starting and she will be right as rain. (probably dampness from all of the rubbish weather, nothing to worry about ) |

Well the mini got some xmas presents today. New fascias for the dials, look real nice. Wipac quadoptic headlights and 4 drive lamps. Lovely Will post pics when fitted. |
