yea problem of having a mini as a daily driver, they stand out a bit too much and attract the wrong kind of attention sometimes. yea a sticker like that would be good although i am sure it would just attract more unwanted attention, i need a sticker saying honestly i am just a french car just keep walking.... plz.

yea it sucks, if they owned a mini they would know it not all rainbows, the amount of money and effort it takes to just drive about. think i going to get a cover for it, may just make it too much effort for them to hurt her then.

It's sad how little respect some people have for other peoples things. My mates Dad got his tyres slashed and a sign left behind saying "just cos you're stupid doesn't mean you're disabled" as they thought he had parked in disabled bay. If they had taken 2 seconds to check they would have realised he was parked NEXT to the disabled bays and that his was a normal one! pot, kettle eh? Doesn't help when the car attracts attention either as you say, little mini so small people look. My mates Dads car was a Celica GT so looks a bit sporty like.

my new toys cam through the post yesterday. as she is always leaking i got all new seals for the wind screens to try and stop this problem before the rain eats my car inside out, and as i felt she needs something to make her look nice i got some chrome covers to put over the seams on the sides. have no idea how to get the on but we will give it a go. and if i smash my windscreens that will just make my weekend. post up the pics when they done.

If your changing the rubbers for new ones, when your taking out the screens just cut the old rubbers to get it out. wont be putting un-needed stress on the screen then!

Thanks, decided with my dad while looking at the car with a cup of tea this morning that we going to wait and get the rest of the things that need doing to the car before i put anything on, which a good plan apart form i am impatient, just spent £100 and i want to see it on the car now!!!! oh well makes sense what the point in stopping water getting in from windows when i have a hole in the floor and water gets in there!

Ah....true.....
Plus you will probably have a pain getting the rubbers back in until it warms up a bit...

TYPICAL on my way home from work today suddenly my radio stopped working my indicators stopped working my internal light stopped working all at once. it always happens to me i have the most unlucky mini in the world. every month something always goes it literally waits till i get payed then dies. any ideas why all these things are effected at once.

This is the guide for the in-line fuses and you need to check the ones in the engine compartment: -

No worries and that fuse rating chart relates to the SPi Minis and Mini Coopers.

ok bare with me on this..... my mini seems to be going mad basically i not sure it can be a fuse as on my way home tonight 1. the radio kept going on/off 2. the red alarm button on the steering rack kept going on/off 3. indicators still don't work. 4. when i do try the indicators it cuts out the radio and the red light.
i not sure if there an earthing problem. i still not found the fuse you guys are on about as i not really had time.... i hope it is the fuse.
Lawson.... i may have to come for a drive to you when you are free hahaha. may as well leave my mini with you.
