this must be the unluckiest mini ever the whole 4 days of owning it and my sister decides to drive into it !! luckily it was relatively slow so just a broken bumper, still something i didnt want to go spending more money on tho

yesterday i actually got around to starting, first up was the door step + sill repair the door step and sill lip had both rotted away so cut it all out then welded in a new section of sill then after a bit of metal shaping a new section of door step was formed and welded in, i should have learnt after the flame to buy the panel as its a right pain to create the right shape but my eagerness to get on with it saw me bending metal yet again then all of it given a good coat of anti rust primer tomorrow will see a small patch to the drivers floor pan

Drivers side is now solid but after inspecting the passanger side the outer sill has been well bodged with filler so its a new outer sill and the inner sill looks past it aswell so now I have to decide weather its worth carrying on with gonna price up the all the goodies and if I can make my money back then it will probably be broken for spares edit realised that made it sound worse than it is, its easy fixable but I got other more important projects so for me its getting the thing out of my way asap but also not lose money.

Have worked out that I can get easily get £600 from a few of the main components so if some one wants it for 600 they can have it and save me breaking it . Really can't be bothered with any more body work atm and also Im picking up my new engine for the flame next week so need room in the garage for subframe building
