theres been a funny noise from the engine recently and it is coming from that area, i must have put it on back to front when i changed the water pump before lol

Due to a change of plan and choice of door cards i spent my saturday looking for my old door cards and maybe giving them a clean up










I also managed to pick myself up a pair of dashboard rails which again needed a clean up








then fitted the other door cards and to be honest they look much better than the other ones







then today while at the show i picked myself up four spotlights on a bar and a flip filler cap

glad those rails cleaned up ok saw the car in show it looks good.

Finally decided yesterday to have a crack at making my own dashboard,need to finish it off today,will upload pics later if all goes well

Spent wednesday afternoon making a dashboard out of hardboard to make a template for the final dash and to make any changes before i make the final one,and i can also use this one as a template for the final one.First i measured out the dash and corrected all sizes to make it accurate,cut out the dash, and sanded it to the correct shape and size,then i cut out the holes for the clocks and sprayed it silver and fitted it:) here are some pics of the rough dashboard design:




I then spent thursday making the final dash,found a nice piece of 10mm MDF,copied the other dash onto the MDF and cut it out then sanded it down to the correct size and shape,then spent some time cutting and sanding out the holes for the clock,then added a hole for a radio and fitted it,just need to cover it with vinyl and foam to finish it









Just need to make my own speakerboard and maybe even a centre console
