here are some pics of my mini
Started of as a standard 1985 mini city e which needed alot of work
but over the last two years has been restored and turned into a sportspack loookalike
started of like this:

i have replaced the following with brand new parts:

front panel
two front wings
two a panels
door skins
door step panels/inner sills
outer sills
rear valance
boot hinge panel
with some welding work in the boot and front floor pans

it has also had the old tired 998cc engine replaced with a rebuilt 1275 engine

Looks fantastic and it's good to see another one back on the road where it belongs.

Shame about the Cooper though, but at least it helped save yours.

now that my mini had been resprayed i was on the look out for some spares that i could use to help oliver out. I happily found this:




A 1998 Rover Mini Cooper Sportspack 1.3i,which had unfortunately slammed side on into a tree ,but at least i had some good parts from it that i could use to help my mini.

I managed to get:
4x Genuine sportspack alloy wheels
2" Maniflow twin dtm exhaust system
Clear lensed rear lights
Clear side repeaters
Clear mpi front indicators
and a set of opening rear windows (tinted out)

well i absolutely love the exhaust it has a great sound and is very strong too ;D I just need to get a nice air filter to go with it but im not sure what to get yet any suggestons??

Got a lovely pair of cobra clubman bucket seats
union jack door cards
union jack gear knob
and new red carpet aswell but thats not pictured yet

also brand new front and rear window seals with chrome inserts and my new sportspack arches from north west minis

The wheels,exhaust,rear lights,side repeaters now installed and with the bonnet stripes

Fitted the front and rear screens with the new seals and chrome inserts and also fitted side windows and is looking more like a car now

Time to spray the inside of the car so the interior can be fitted into place

new carpet
Cobra clubman bucket seats
union jack door cards
union jack gear knobs
and the dash

Oliver is nearly there and has come together nice and has a new badge and sill tims fitted tooo ;D

Just ordered some ignition parts:
new dizzy cap
new points
new condenser
new rotor arm
new plug leads
and a new k&n style cone air filter

also done some under the bonnet work this weekend aswell
spraying etc.















As you can see still alot to do under the bonnet to get it nice and clean looking but atleat its a start eh

got home today to find that this had arrived ;D
