where are the oil valve seals?
what about the tmep gauge not goign above the center of cold and middle then ? or is it just because its all new..?

I Wouldn't worry about the temp gauge. If it was near the H all the time, That's the time to worry. As for the blue smoke, Have you got any oil drips under the Mini where It's parked.  |

right the car actuaklly broke down tonight , it proper stopped all together , it was pulling back and it got worse n worse and then i ahd to roll down a hill into the side of the road to be safe. lukes dad came to the rescue and had a look. as i was just around the corner from about to be picking luke up.. the points have gone and the compresser also. plus we might have to change the coil again frm ballasted this time to 12v. apperently it was hat pullign it back , once lukes dad gave it abit of a lcean on the pionts it drove to his fine but we changed the rocker cover gasket and the seals for the blue smoke problem . so that should be fine now. as for the points , ill be going out and walking  ... to get those parts tomorrow. hopefulyl have it fixxed tomorrow night then as were goign to st davids on saturday!! yet again , any advice? |

no advice but maybe both our cars picked up a bug in the rain on sunday???...lol...best of luck getting it sorted

haha we said it was probably my car throwing a wobbley after sunday... just wait until i have to drive him to west wales... looks like we wont be coming back  |
