bought the points and the condenser goign to fix them into the mini tonight.... got blisters on my feet now thats what i get for choosing to walk to the ferthest parts places with sandles on  but theyre good on price. |

ok so got hoem today after beign out for a while and thought i need to do something on the mini  so i decided to fit the lower dash rail.the switch panel was arwkward to fit but i need a new one of those anyways so ill get one soon enough to fit in . finally looks complete! big difference to how most of you ahve seen it in person in the past when it first had carpet and dangling clocks for a dash...  excuse the messy car he needs to be cleaned and the dash needs a wipe down as i have mucky hands! you all get first preview not even lukes seen it yet ! or knows infact lol!!! |

! Thanks dai! we'll be fitting new leads and plugs to the car in the week. shopping list for lucas parts lol. at least we know were goign to get poper parts n it shouldnt come down to that again hopefully! its been driving lovely since , after having the timing done right and so on. were considering changing it to electric ignition... can any one give advise to it ? something more reliable that we wont have these probs with again?

no i was speaking in a moment of upset and anger when i said id ever sell gordon i apologise lol! infact im thinking of a second mini i think gordon might be a project for me to work properly on if i find a mini that doesnt need work or welding. ive got big plans for gordy so id need another car in the mean time while he has all the welding done. just looking out for what people think on the body work he needs doing and how to go about changing the ignition? im going to call that place in swansea that u mention phil later on this week for a quote on resto on my car. will keep putting up pics when ive done more noticable things also. im hoping to get thinners on that thick black stuff stuck to everything in the boot this week like you guys had mentioned to do to remove it. im not worried if it marks the paint becasue i can rust proof and respray that myself. the floor in the boot actually looks solid. |
