I'm hoping its going to start Saturday morning, tea/ coffee & Bacon baps can be arranged  Sunday hightower is doing a motorkhana in pembrey so id like to go & watch him in the morning, ill be back in the afternoon tho I guess! |

Ive no idea, whatever is best for everyone! Saturday - 11 onwards? Its a uphill drive by the way... So doner is up the top nose down, my Mini is in the entry of the drive pointing up... Also as of yet nothing is removed off either engine! wooo!  Im determined to get at least the carb and rad off ready *huff* On Sunday Hightower is taking part in a sprint rally thing down pembrey, so the family is going down to watch/support around 9ish, then in the afternoon we will head back, if anyone fancies continuing engine nonsense after the rally on Sunday my mum said she will get on the case of dinner with bacon baps/tea etc ;D  |

If anyone has a flywheel puller could they bring it with them? Dad suggested it may be worth changing the clutch just in case..

 Yea! OK "us"......... but it still took 6 weeks, 2 clutch pullers, a 4 foot length of scaffholding bar, my biggest hammer and an awful lot of swearing!!!

My dad has suggested that this weekend we just try and get the engine/subby out of the donor so that we can try and sort the clutch out.
That way i can still use mine for work and means we won't have to rush as much.
The forecast for Saturday looks like a write off. We cN see what we can do in the breaks in the shower on Saturday. But sunday afternoon looks like our best bet. So consider this delayed until Sunday.

We are going to sky+ the grand prix & gwyn & coedy are going to stay & work on rhe car. I am going to pembrey with high tower... I hope I cheer on the rigjt places, I dunno the rules of motokhanas !!  Don't worry if you cant make Sunday, we realise that people are busy its not a problem, it also is the wrong time of year to work on cars outside. If it starts raining we will have to abandon it so we don't expect people to come all the way over here for 5 minutes. We need to get it done by the 11th for the mot |
