Disconnected/remove all fluid pipes / electrical cables
remove gear remote linkage then remove 8 subframe bolts from bottom of bulkhead/top of floorpan.
Loosen and remove two big bolts on crossmember.
Jack up bodyshell of car using blocks of wood and wheel out front subframe (very heavy and unstable take care!) alternatively get a few mates to lift the front of the car up and then push it backwards (release handbrake first)

All electrics from the harness to the engine!
Brake lines,
carburettor to give you more room!
Just remove the Clutch plate and remove the plunger thing?
Accelerator and choke cable.
Speedo cable!
The exhaust otherwise you have to walk the shell backwards the full length of the exhaust!
Heater cable!
Heater pipes!
Track rod ends!
Top engine steady and earth cable if it's there?
And then it should be lower subframe joints And tower bolts!
DONT forget to disconnect the steering colum from the rack and un-bolt the rack from the floor if you drop the sub frame

Those are the checklists Ive found... Anyone spot anything else I need to do?
Also The drive is on a slant (A fair slant). Where should I put the cars? My thoughts are Doner car at the top of the drive engine side pointing down, my car bottom of the drive engine side pointing up and then when the Doner subby/gumph is out, walk the shell backwards up off it and plonk it back down, then I just need to spin the engine assembly around and walk my body up to it??
This is going to be hilarious isn't it...
Before you ask why I'm doing it this way its because the drive is on a slant, and I need to replace my subframe anyway, so two birds one stone and all that. ;D
