Right. All that is left to do is:
Battery cable (undid one or two clips on the subframe, one was stuck fast so we sprayed it and left it) Clutch pipe disconnect from the body Brake line disconnect from the body Track rod ends Shocks Subby mounts
Everything else is disconnected.
I even bashed the clutch arm about and got it free'd up (its still a bit stiff but it now moves...Still looking like a clutch change though.)

Good call about the weather today coedy. Grey and damp is not good for working outside on a Mini....... ..... unless you are dogsbreath! He only works in winter in the snow and frost and by torchlight !!!!!!! ;D

If it's only a clutch plate you need I've got a spare here. Oh, and a flywheel puller and if that doesn't get the flywheel off, there's a technique I know of which usually works. I'll be thare about 9.30 ish. One sugar, white please. More rain tomorrow afternoon.

Ive ordered a full clutch kit (I had no idea how much Muhunies they were... ) because ive no idea what may be ruined on the inside. Hopefully we wont need your secret trick, but if we do Im hoping it will be amazing and work for us... none of this 'scaffolding pole, big hammer, 4 weeks' business Half 9.....urgh....

Huge thanks to everyone who showed up today! ;D The engine and gumph is currently sat outside of the donor car with a nice shiny brand new expensive clutch kit in it. Looks like I wont be attending the bring/buy/swap meet next weekend as its the only weekend left before the MOT so will have to drop my engine assembly and swap them over next weekend. So this week I'll be de-mucking the engine (possibly painting it to a degree), changing the CV boots/bushes it needs and removing as many parts as I can from Roxies engine... So that hopefully all it will need next Saturday is: Disconnect anything left over from this week. Drop my engine and gumph and drag/roll it out of the way. Roll the new engine and gumph into location. Lower the shell into position. Tighten everything down. Connect it all up. Pray. Once again, Cheers guys ;D

Me and my dad (presumably bro as well) are headed up tomorrow around 10ish.
If anyone fancies stopping by that'd be great! (or after Custards meet, whatever, we will probably be doing something all day until it starts getting dark anyway! ;D)

The new one is in. The old one is out. ;D
And the bulkhead needed two patches welded in! So it went well! Just connecting bits back together now and I have to find out why my megajolt unit isn't getting power (think its a fuse as it has its own). Change the CV boot, top ball joints. Clean up the brakes. bleed everything, adjust the clutch (which seems free apparently) and all is well! ;D

MOT isn't until end of the week so will baby it back and fore to work on Tuesday/weds to see how she drives and look out for clutch/brake issues.
Also my front shockers were knackered...completely knackered....stealing the ones from the donor car, KYB gas ones. ;D
